Steady Pace

Hold your pace by ear.

Set a target pace. A tone rises when you slow down and falls when you speed up, so you never look at your phone.

Coming to the App Store One purchase. Every feature unlocked.

Your ears are faster than your eyes.

Most running apps tell you your pace after the fact. By the time a voice says “kilometre three, five twenty-two,” those seconds are already spent.

Steady Pace plays a quiet tone under your music instead. Run slow and it rises. Run fast and it falls. Hold the pace and it flattens out and leaves you alone. You correct constantly, without looking down.

Home screen showing an 8:00 per kilometre target pace and a Start Run button. Run detail showing splits, an elevation profile and a route marked anonymized. A pace trend chart converging on target, above personal records.

Tracking that holds up.

Fused, not raw

GPS is combined with Doppler velocity and your phone’s accelerometer through a Kalman filter, and outlier fixes are rejected.

Survives dropouts

Keeps tracking when the signal falls away under a bridge or between buildings, instead of freezing or teleporting.

Honest elevation

The barometer carries the shape of the climb; GPS only corrects its slow drift.

Auto-pause that thinks

It can tell a red light from a slow grind up a hill, so a steep climb never pauses your run.

Your runs never leave your phone.

There is no account, because there is no server. Runs are written to your device and stay there.

Every route is shifted by an offset the app then throws away, so the coordinates saved on your phone do not match the ground you covered and a shared run doesn’t reveal where you live.

No analytics. No advertising. No tracking of any kind. The app makes no network connections at all — put your phone in airplane mode and everything still works.
